Background:

A graduate of the University of Kentucky and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Shoupe received her medical degree from the Ohio State University and her MBA from the University of Southern California.  Dr. Shoupe has authored numerous scientific papers and book chapters and presents her research work all across the globe.  She maintains an active private practice where she specializes in medical and surgical treatment of fibroids, hormone deficiency problems, surgical and medical treatment of abnormal bleeding and infertility.  Dr. Shoupe is a staff physician at the Keck Hospital of USC and active in various hospital administrative responsibilities, such as serving as the former chief of gynecology, and a member on the medical records, pharmacy and therapeutics, and finance committees.
