Background:

Gligor Gucev M.D., M.S.Ed. is assistant professor of clinical anesthesiology and division director of the Department of Anesthesiology for Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He was selected by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of America’s Top Physicians in 2007. Dr Gucev is member of the Regional Anesthesia Group with special interest in pediatric regional anesthesia. He performed and described the first continuous ilioinguinal-iliohypogastric block. As a member of the regional anesthesia group he participated in the design of the continuous peripheral nerve block protocol for in-patient and out patient orthopedic surgery.
