Background:

Dr. Shil was a research associate in the Division of Cardiology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC before his family medicine residency training at Warren Hospital in New Jersey. He then completed his geriatric medicine fellowship training in the Department of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine. During his fellowship he was involved in research at NYU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
