Emergency Medicine

Exceptional opportunity for a highly qualified emergency physician to join a well established, top quality group and serve full-time or part-time in an exciting practice setting. LAC+USC is one of the nation’s busiest emergency departments with a rich mix of acute medical and trauma patients. The facility is home to a brand new, state of the art emergency department / resuscitation area. The Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) is an autonomous clinical and academic department within the LAC+USC Medical Center and the Keck School of Medicine. It has the responsibility for initial triage, evaluation, management and disposition of up to 500 patients daily, including pediatric trauma as well as those who present with the complete spectrum of adult medical and surgical problems. The DEM is also responsible for an active Paramedic Base Station, the Hyperbaric Treatment Chamber of Catalina Island, and the Center for Life Support Training and Research.

We are interested in recruiting a highly motivated emergency physician who enjoys both clinical work and bedside teaching to join our faculty of nationally recognized educators and researchers. Faculty appointment will be made commensurate with experience and productivity.
