Interventional Neuroradiology

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, Department of Neurological Surgery offers a two year, non-ACGME fellowship position in Interventional Neuroradiology, starting July 2009. The division has two full time academic interventional neuroradiologists and performs approximately 400 neurointerventional procedures per year in two academic medical centers. Training is provided in diagnostic neuroangiography, brain aneurysm and AVM embolization, carotid and intracranial angioplasty and stenting, intracranial thrombolysis and thrombectomy for treatment of acute ischemic stroke, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and other spinal pain management procedures. We have 2 dedicated neurointerventional operating room suites as well as our own consultation and outpatient clinic. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurological Surgery, Radiology, or Neurology and have a valid California medical license.
