Neurosurgeon

The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of  Southern California Keck School of Medicine seeks a neurosurgeon who has completed fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology specializing in diagnostic neuroangiography, brain aneurysm and AVM embolization, carotid and intracranial angioplasty and stenting, intracranial thrombolysis and thrombectomy for treatment of acute ischemic stroke, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and other spinal pain management procedures.
 
The Interventional Neuroradiology division performs approximately 400 neurointerventional procedures per year in two academic medical centers. We have 2 dedicated neurointerventional operating room suites. We also have our own consultation and outpatient clinic. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurological Surgery and have a valid California medical license. This position offers competitive salary with excellent university benefits and for the successful candidate, an academic appointment appropriate to the level of training and experience.
