Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is home to many historical, contemporary and political landmarks, such as Olvera Street, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Museum of Contemporary Art,, Staples Center, and the new Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. The civic center, a sub-region of the city that is home to such places as the Music Center and Federal Courthouse, has the distinction of containing the largest concentration of government employees in the U.S.
Downtown Los Angeles is home to the Fashion and Jewelry Districts, which make for great, affordable shopping destinations. Also, the diverse cultural areas of downtown provide an ideal setting for locating rare and authentic ethnic merchandise.

Pasadena
Pasadena is probably most famous for its Annual Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl, yet the city is also home to numerous other attractions. The world-renowned California Institute of Technology, which manages the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and whose scientists frequently collaborate with those of the Keck School, is located there. Other prominent venues include the art collection of the Norton Simon Museum, the theatrical offerings of the Pasadena Playhouse (founded in 1917), and the historic Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Gardens.
The downtown urban village known as “Old Town” Pasadena is home to a multitude of dining, shopping, and nightlife experiences. Beach Communities
Aside from the beauty of the coastal landscape, the beach communities offer several attractions of public interest. Among those attractions are the Manhattan Beach Studios, the first studio built from the ground up in California in 60 years, Malibu Creek State Park, the Venice Beach boardwalk, the Santa Monica Museum of Art, the annual Santa Monica Film Festival, and the famed Santa Monica Pier.

Westside and Hollywood
The Westside is home to such landmarks as the Getty Center Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Sunset Boulevard, and Beverly Hills' famed Rodeo Drive.
